Our Story
Born in Rabo de Peixe
Our founder, LuÃs Nunes, grew up in the fishing village of Rabo de Peixe, where life has always revolved around the Atlantic.
As a child, he watched fishermen head out before dawn, guided by instinct, shaped by salt and wind. That early connection taught him the freedom, resilience, and quiet pride of life by the sea.
Years later, after building a successful career and learning from the world, LuÃs returned to give back, not just to his village, but to the Azores as a whole.
AG Expeditions was born from that mission: to explore the sea, and to uplift the people and culture that live alongside it.
